This is the story of a 39-foot 30-year old sailboat made in France and sailed in Japan. Acquired last year, this sailboat named Kaikoma by it's new owner requires a lot of loving care and refurbishing before she sets sail again.

Located just a few hours train ride from Tokyo, Izu Peninsula offers the hiker a great place to enjoy nature. You can find sea caves along the rugged ocean cliffs and hidden waterfalls in the heavily wooded mountains inland.
